Triptych Acrylic Painting. Each Painting is on a 16x16 stretched canvas. Each piece is framed with 3/8 inch lightly stained wood. Together the 3 pieces stretch 42 inches in length. Painting is finished with a high gloss. Looking out over the Olympic Mountains, a subject I have painted before, I was staring at something different this evening. The water was calm creating these lines of colors, and the colors in the sky seemed to stretch out for miles. I wanted to capture the magnitude of the skyline that evening. A triptych gives the owner some creative freedoms when it comes to placing the artwork on your walls. In this case, it stretches that skyline out even more by spacing the pieces apart.
