18x18 Acrylic on Stretched canvas. Painting wraps around the edges which creates a presentable piece without the need to frame. Palms trees represent many positive things to me. If I lived in an area where they flourished maybe I would take them for granted, but then again maybe not. The tree trunks were heavily textured, much like the trees themselves. The bright colors in the background maybe take you to a specific place. For me, I traveled in my head to Palm Springs while creating this. I hope this painting helps you travel to that happy place of yours.
